Hi, my name is Hanyu Jin.
I’m currently a Master’s student in Carnegie Mellon University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I work in the UAV team in the Computational Engineering & Robotics Lab (CERLAB) under the supervision of Professor Kenji Shimada. I obtained my BEng in Mechanical Engineering from University College London, and had been worked in the Soft Haptics and Robotics Lab led by Professor Helge Wurdemann.
Research Interest
- Planning and Control: developing path planning and trajectory optimization algorithm for mobile robots.
- Field Robots: unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for industrial applications, i.e, inspection, reconstruction.
- Soft Robotics: design and mathematical modelling of soft continumm robots.
